The Grand Appeal

The Grand Appeal-Why we are raising money for them

Paradise and Backparadiseandbacklogo

In 2007 my nephew Manu developed bacterial meningitis and was so poorly he and his parents hardly saw outside the hospital walls for weeks, even months at a time. Luckily Manu was then placed in the hands of Bristol Children’s Hospital, where their neurosurgeon Dr Thomas, treated complicated secondaries with utmost skill and care, as did the nurses in the hospital.

Manu is now a very healthy six year old, and myself and my brother Dave, who is an ex Bristol rugby player, have decided to make the Grand Appeal (which fund raises on behalf of the children’s hospital), the cause for our first Bristol trail event, Paradie and Back.
